Sour Water Stripper Installation

Montana

PROJECT
OVERVIEW

The client’s existing sour water stripper did not have sufficient capacity to meet the refinery’s expansion plans, prompting the design of a new stripper to replace the existing one. The new stripper was located in an area where an unused tank was earmarked for demolition. The new unit was integrated into a significant refinery expansion project encompassing several new units to double the refinery’s throughput.
