Our client manufactures a certain polymer through a process requiring a particular chemical. Their ability
to be profitable is dependent on this chemical’s availability. Therefore, they wished to develop
infrastructure that would allow them to manufacture this chemical in-house. Norwest’s involvement
began at the pre-FEED/conceptual phase, and we remained intimately involved throughout construction
and commissioning. After the project was greenlit, Norwest was awarded the EPC contract, where we
acted as general contractor and were responsible for all finances. Norwest maintained a full time
presence on-site during construction and commissioning, serving the project as owner’s representative.
