Refinery Support Engineering

Utah

PROJECT
OVERVIEW

This client refines sweet, light, and fancy crude to produce regular gasoline, premium gasoline, ULSD, and heavy fuel oil. Norwest’s first project with this client was piping modifications for the facility’s LPG service which lasted approximately 1.5 years. Early in the project’s life, the relationship was quickly seen as a good fit from both sides, and Norwest’s responsibilities grew. At one point, Norwest had 4 employees working on-site full-time at the refinery. To date, Norwest’s largest projects with this client include a facility-wide PSV mitigation study and an off-site truck unloading facility that ties into the refinery’s supply chain.
